It’s the last week before the Scottish round of the Merida Bikes MTB Marathon in Selkirk (4-5th August 2007) opens its doors. It’s a great event and some of us Singletrack Staffers will be riding.

Last weekend, over 170 mountain bikers flocked back to Innerleithen’s downhill routes to celebrate the start of the venue’s new vehicle uplift service.

Hey. So do you think a longer stem would make the bars turn funny, bunny hopping awkward and going over the bars more likely, or would it just give me more front wheel traction without affecting other stuff?
