Americans shine at MTB World Cup, Gwin scores bronze in DH
The United States was well represented at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup in Mont-Saint-Anne, Quebec, July 24-25. The top American performance was put on by gravity rider Aaron Gwin who grabbed the bronze medal in the pro menandrsquo;s downhill event. The U.S. grabbed another elite medal when Willow Koerber scored a fifth-place finish in the womenandrsquo;s cross country contest while fellow American Georgia Gould finished seventh. Former world champions Jill Kintner and Melissa Buhl also graced the podium, finishing fourth and fifth respectively in the pro womenandrsquo;s 4X.
